My interests in language, identity, and culture drive me to immerse myself in places that feel like they’re at the edge of the world – places with a deep connection to the land and sea.
In my personal and professional endeavors, my hope is to create authentic connections with the individuals who define themselves by the changing tide. My goals in my life and in my work center on immersive cultural experiences near and far – as a photographer, as a writer, as a researcher, and as an educator. Currently I am pursuing these interests in the PhD in Leadership Studies at the University of Southern Maine, where my research involving cultural resilience in the North Atlantic & the Arctic continues to evolve.
